Holmdel NJ (USA), 23 Dec 2011 - Marketware International, Inc. today announced that Bernadette Celanges has been named President and Chief Financial Officer of the company, and Mr. Chester Ng will continue in his new role to head all the technology initiatives for the company. Mr. Jose Pierre who founded and led Marketware for 16 years will leave to pursue new interests but, will provide advisory services to the Executive team.
"As we enter the next phase of Marketware's transformation, we need a new organizational approach that will strengthen the focus on both day-to-day marketplace results and future growth opportunities," Mr. Pierre said. "I believe this new structure is the best way to accomplish these goals, under the leadership of two of Marketware's most experienced and capable executives."
As part of today's announcement, Ms. Celanges will assume responsibility for Marketware's operations and finance. Mr. Ng will be responsible for accelerating Marketware's efforts in emerging growth areas such as next-generation Internet and wireless technologies and related applications.
Ms. Celanges joined Marketware in 1997. Prior to today's announcement, she was senior vice president and CFO in charge of Marketware's business operations and services. Ms. Celanges studied Business Administration at Fordham University and has held various corporate positions in the Financial sector as a Pension Actuary and in 2010 received certification in Financial Planning.
